Some answers to commonly asked questions are listed below. If you have another question or don't see the answer here, please feel free to e-mail info@xprtresume.com, or call (505) 791-1079. You can also get a feel for our work by Viewing Sample Resumes and Cover Letters.
How long will it take for you to make my resume?
Usually, it will take no longer than five business days. When we receive your payment, we will send you our XPRT Interview, designed to get all the information we need to make your documents. As soon as we get your XPRT Interview, If you need it within 2–3 business days, there is a rush charge you can pay to guarantee you will have your resume when you need it.
What is the difference between the "Designed" resume and the regular resume?
The designed resume will have a specific design, tailored to your personality, your career goals and other information we get from your XPRT Interview and our conversations with you. This resume is guaranteed to "stand out" from other plain resumes, because it is not a cookie cutter template. It is a design built around your resume information and your job search goals. We've had clients tell us their interviewer made comments like, "Oh, YOU'RE the one with that resume!" Like our other application documents, the content will be above reproach, because ultimately, your content is what keeps future employers' attention. The design is the little extra edge that draws them in.
What do I do with the files you send me?
You will receive files that you will use to print your resume when you need it. To save them to your computer, right click on the file in your e-mail, and choose the "save as" option. Be sure to note where on your computer you are saving the file(s) so you can find them when you need to print them.
If you wish to purchase printed copies of your resume, you will still receive the PDF files (viewable with Acrobat Reader), and a text version of your resume.
Why do I have to pay first?
During the creation process, you will receive our XPRT Interview, a series of questions you will answer that will give us the information we need to create your personalized cover letter. Although many questions are standard, we feel some of this information is proprietary and significant for the protection of our business. We only make this information available after a client has paid.
Why does it cost so much?
So many times we will see qualified individuals not getting interviews because the package they put together is just not professional. It takes time and expertise to put together the package that tells your future employer about you. ... over the years, our experience has grown along with our prices.
Though content is king, appearance is key when it comes to getting a job. Especially when you are sending documents that are supposed to "speak about you" when you are not there to speak for yourself. What are your documents saying about you?
